Betty Uber, also known as Mrs. Betty Uber, was a famous female badminton player in the 1930s in the United Kingdom. From 1930 to 1949, she won championships in women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles of the All England Badminton Championships many times. After retiring, she still had a passion for badminton.

In 1956, at the council of the International Badminton Federation, she officially donated the commemorative cup made by Macphie and Weber to the International Badminton Federation, which is now the Uber Cup. She also presided over the draw ceremony of the first Uber Cup competition.
