Conny Jepsen: A Legendary Badminton Player

Conny Jepsen, born on January 18, 1921, and passed away on February 3, 1989, was a retired Danish and Swedish male badminton player.

Jepsen won the Danish National Badminton Championships in men’s singles in 1939 and 1941. During World War II, he first went to England and eventually immigrated to Sweden.


In 1947, he represented Sweden at the All England Open Badminton Championships and defeated India’s Prakash Nat to become the champion.
