The badminton court features four 16-meter side lines, two 6-meter end lines, and two 6-meter no-entry lines.
A center line is not to be set.
The width of the side lines should be between 4 to 5 centimeters, with a color that contrasts sharply with the ground color.
For concrete and asphalt surfaces, the boundary lines should be made of durable adhesive tape that firmly adheres to the ground. If possible, it is best to use suitable paint sprayed directly onto the court surface. For sandy and natural grass surfaces, the boundary lines should be made of durable material strips, with rivets used to connect and secure them to the ground at the intersection of the side lines. The strips must have the necessary tension to keep the boundary lines in place while also being elastic to minimize the risk of players tripping over the boundary lines and suffering accidents.
