Badminton Scoring System Recommendations by BWF

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) suggests the following scoring method: best of five games, with each game consisting of 11 points.
When the score reaches 10-10, the side that leads by 2 points wins the game.

If the score reaches 12-12, the side that scores the 13th point first wins the game. The winner serves first in the next game.

Players from both sides should switch courts when one side reaches 6 points and at the end of each game.

There is an allowed break of no more than 120 seconds between each game; during each game, when one side reaches 6 points, there is an allowed break of no more than 60 seconds.

The above scoring system is a recommendation; different regions may adopt other scoring methods based on their actual circumstances.
