Lauren Lam: Young American Badminton Star

Lauren Lam (English: Lauren Lam, born on January 15, 2003) is a female badminton player from the United States. At the young age of 16, Lauren Lam made an unconventional decision; instead of starting her efforts in the junior division, she plunged into high-level tournaments. Her compatriot and frequent training partner, Beiwen Zhang, believes that she is young and full of potential.

In August 2018, Lauren Lam competed in the US Badminton International Series, securing the runner-up position in the women’s doubles competition.


In 2023, she won the women’s doubles championship at the Estonia Badminton International.
In 2022, she claimed the women’s singles championship at the El Salvador Badminton International.
She also won the women’s doubles championship at the same event in 2022.

Additionally, she secured the women’s singles championship at the Mexico Badminton International in 2022.

In the same year, she won the women’s doubles championship at the Peru Badminton International Challenge.


In 2021, she took the women’s singles championship at the Mexico Badminton International.
She also won the women’s singles championship at the Brazil Badminton International Challenge in 2021.
Furthermore, she claimed the women’s singles championship at the Guatemala Badminton Future Series in 2021.
