Since the launch and implementation of the outdoor badminton project in China, it has garnered the attention of a broad audience and badminton enthusiasts. Numerous organizations and units are eager to initiate competitions and promotional activities for this new project. To foster the development of this innovative sport, the Badminton Association of China has released a trial version of the ‘Outdoor Badminton Guide’ (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Guide’), offering scientific guidance on how to conduct outdoor badminton activities.
Based on the Badminton World Federation’s instructional manual and incorporating experiences from previous promotional activities as well as practical needs, the ‘Guide’ has been compiled in both Chinese and English versions.
The ‘Guide’ is divided into five sections: project overview, venue and equipment, competition rules, safety policies, and promotion, providing a comprehensive introduction to this new outdoor sport.
Units interested in organizing outdoor badminton events and badminton enthusiasts are welcome to download and read the ‘Guide’.
